Trying to listen to your Authentic Self in a world that constantly tells you what to do, how you should look, who you should be... well it’s just plain old hard. In this nourishing practice we will use yoga poses as a way to find functional movement for our bodies and to get comfortable in our bodies. We will also do breathing exercises for our nervous system. Using these techniques we will practice slowing down our minds and finding clarity by paying attention to whatever comes up. Clarity brings freedom. The more freedom we have, the more joy and abundance begin to enter our lives. (And you thought yoga was just exercise :-)

Level 1 Description:
This class is great for beginners as well as yogis wanting to go back to the basics. Show up prepared to move. Yoga stretches and strengthens the body through a series of postures in which you support your own weight and focus on conscious breathing. We will move slow and there are many modifications/variations so everybody can find a home. The well-rounded sequences temper heat and strength with flexibility and stillness, addressing the body and mind in equal measure.
Level 1/2 Description:
This class is welcome to anyone, but is a more advanced practice then the Level 1 class. We will practice with attention and intention. This class blends precision in alignment with breath awareness and fluid movement for a balanced practice. It will typically move through a warm-up and Sun Salutations into strategically sequenced postures, working toward a particular peak pose or targeting a specific body part. Come prepared to learn how to move your body skillfully and safely on the mat. You’ll leave these classes feeling like you got a satisfying workout for both your body and your mind.
