Trying to listen to your Authentic Self in a world that constantly tells you what to do, how you should look, who you should be... well it’s just plain old hard. In this nourishing practice we will use yoga poses as a way to find functional movement for our bodies and to get comfortable in our bodies. We will also do breathing exercises for our nervous system. Using these techniques we will practice slowing down our minds and finding clarity by paying attention to whatever comes up. Clarity brings freedom. The more freedom we have, the more joy and abundance begin to enter our lives. (And you thought yoga was just exercise :-)
Dates: September 24 - November 17 (8 week session)
& November 26 - December 22 (4 week session)

Shoulders up to your ears? Neck feeling tight? Feeling uncomfortable throughout your upper body? You are not alone. Many of us hold tension here which can cause pain and discomfort.
During this workshop we will take extra time to release built up tension through various movements and exercises. You will leave feeling taller, like you can breath again, and more open in your upper body.
Limited Space - Personal Attention.
All Levels Welcome.
This is the 7th of 7 workshops focusing on the energy centers (chakras) of the body. You can take them individually or as a series.
The Crown Energy Center (Sahasrara Chakra) is our center of enlightenment, spiritual connection, and ability to relate to yourself/others. If this center is imbalanced you may have a tendency to be “flighty”, detached , feeling superior, or aggressive. In the body it can manifest as mental fogginess, seizures, depression, and/or lack of empathy, .
This workshop will be a combination of yoga, meditation, and other techniques to help balance the energy of this area. We will learn what attaches us to this world and how to begin letting go of those things so that we can connect to our "highest" self.
