Coming soon - a new class in South Pasadena

1st announcement:

i am going to be starting a new, donation based class on saturdays in south pasadena from 8:30am-9:30am. you will be able to get your workout done early and still have a full day for work or play! i will have 2 free trial classes on saturday, january 8 & 15 and it will officially start on saturday, february 5.

i will keep you updates with my “this week’s classes” on the bottom of my blog postings/rss feeds. but this saturday, come and join me for free trial class and check out the space.

 

now for my blog:

so when last i spoke/typed - i made a list of the way i was going to approach my holiday season and i have to say - i did pretty good overall. i maintained a calm demeanor and didn’t let myself get stressed out. i enjoyed my time with friends and family and even had a surprise visit from my brother, chad (the pix is of the 2 of us at the rose bowl watching wisconsin!). and although i didn’t eat great (garlic french fries at the game to name one splurge), i did eat better than had thought i would. and most importantly - i didn’t get too hard on myself for the little things. and yoga was with me through it all!!!!! both in asana practice and in my mind/soul when i wasn’t on the mat. it’s so neat to see the mental/emotional changes that continue to evolve me. 

 

now that i have made it through the holidays, i am ready to clean up shop and begin the new year with my health in mind. getting back to a more regular practice, getting all the crap out of my diet and maintaining the positive mind i am now in after having a great holiday season and filling up on love and happiness! oh, and i want to be more regular about my postings. every sunday i need to update my website and my facebook page.
