remember when you were a kid
     both creator & destroyer

building a castle, a city, a structure
     smashing it down with pure joy & laughter

when did that change
why did that change

take me back
    before the fear
          when experimentation was essential
                destruction & impermanence were joyful

i don't desire my youthful looks
     nor my body from 20 years ago
          but that....

Kali manifest
in me
through me

let that lion reappear
i will mount him
we will travel to unknown territory

we will bestow liberation on all

but first, on ourselves
