Celebrate The Full Moon
(And no, I don't mean pulling down your pants. LOL!!!)
Join me in "celebrating" the Full Moon today. How? I say find your own way, but a couple of things that might inspire you....
Go outside this morning or this evening and just look up and see her in all her glory. Tell her thank you for being a part of what makes our planet and the solar system that houses us a place we can live. Whisper a secret to her (she is one of the best listeners I have ever met!). Dance under her tonight with only her brightness shining down on you. Outside. In the cold air of winter. Build a fire in your fire pit and spend some time "in nature" tonight. (As the Scandanavians say: There is not such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.)
As I mentioned in a previous moon post - I am not an astrologer and know very little, but I love to follow people who know more. According to astrologers, in general Full Moons are condusive to letting go of things. This particular Full Moon is in Leo and the sun in Aquarius today.
Heidi Rose Robbins wrote in her Moon Note this AM that when she thinks of this blend of Leo + Aquarius, "I think: joyful service of fun with friends. I think of shining our individual lights for the benefit of all... and on-line dance parties. I think of how when on heart is radiant - it can instantaneously ignite the hearts all around.... On this Full Moon day, let's take some time for Breath and Appreciation. Let's each send a love letter to humanity today - through thought or word or deed."
For myself... you'll find me looking up often. Dancing without music. Pausing to take deep breaths. Contemplating what no longer serves me. And then tonight by the fire, I will write out what no longer serves me and burn it in the fire as a ritual and a remembrance to let go.
I love you as you are Beautiful Humans. Thank you for being in my life, in this community, in this world at this time.
